Our Ingredients

Olive Oil
High in essential fatty acids (EFAs) and antioxidants, olive oil is very moisturizing leaving your skin soft and supple. Also helps make small bubbles in our soaps.

Coconut Oil
Another bubble maker, coconut oil is an excellent emollient naturally high in antioxidants and EFAs, very moisturising, softening and protective.

Highly recommended for mature, dry and sensitive skin.

Rice Bran Oil
Rich and nourishing, with traditional use from Japanese women to keep their skin smooth and shiny, rice bran oil is rich in Vitamin E group antioxidants Tocopherol, Oryzanol and Tocotrienol.

Apricot Kernel
Very similar to Sweet Almond Oil, a good source of vitamin A and EFAs and having a soothing effect on skin reducing roughness, cracking of skin.

Virgin Avocado
A very moisturising emollient easily absorbed into the deep tissue of the skin. Rich in vitamin A,C, D & E, proteins and fatty acids (palmitic, palmitoleic, stearic, oleic, linoleic & linolenic).
Great for dry and mature skin types.

Pure Jojoba
A liquid wax that is high in vitamin E, excellent for inflamed skin.
Jojoba oil has a similar chemical structure to the skins own sebum giving it natural moisturizing and healing properties, suitable for all skin types.

Rosehip
(Certified Organic)
High is EFAs, and vitamin C, it is an emollient readily absorbed into the skin.
Highly recommended for dry, mature skin – moisturize and soothe dry skin, nourish and hydrate ageing skin.

Cocoa Butter
An excellent emollient, high in vitamin E, it softens and lubricates the skin. Has long lasting protection, suitable for all skin types especially when it’s really dry!

Mango Butter
An emollient with high oxidative ability, wound healing, and regenerative activity as it does not saponify. Traditionally use in the rain forests and tropics for its skin softening, soothing, moisturizing and protective properties and to restore flexibility and reduce degeneration of skin cells.

Shea Butter
(Certified Organic)
Ideal for use on dry or fragile skin and is suitable for those with skin sensitivities such as dermatitis or psoriasis. It is anti-inflammatory and leaves the skin more supple, less flaccid, less wrinkled and soft.

Argile Jaune Surfine
(Yellow superfine clay)
Rich in minerals, restores a healthy glow as it tones, refreshes and tightens the skin.

Argile Rose Surfine
(Pink superfine clay)
Is a balanced blend of iron oxide, silica and mineral salts. Medium absorbency and effective cleanser for sensitive skin types. Smoothes and re-textures the skin.

Argile Rouge Surfine
(Red superfine clay)
Has a high presence of iron oxide. Rich in trace elements, cleans the skin, revitalises the appearance and leaves the complexion looking radiant.

Argile Verte Surfine
(Green superfine clay)
The best and most active clay, cleanses, clarifies and purifies the skin. This clay is extracted by hand; it is very pure, soft and revitalising.

Essential Oils
Essential oils are highly aromatic natural extracts obtained from a wide range of plants, which have been steam distilled or cold-pressed from flowers, fruit, bark and roots. They are very potent so very little is needed to create a beautiful scent.

Listed are the following pure essential oils used in our soaps.
Lavender, lemongrass, Australian mandarin, Roman chamomile, cedarwood, rosewood, lemon myrtle, sweet orange, rosemary, peppermint and ylang ylang.

Others

Turmeric – great for the skin, turmeric is an exotic yellow spice high in antioxidants, with antiseptic, anti bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It can help even out skin tone, adds as an excellent body scrub Indian brides use to leave their skin soft, smooth and glowing.

Organic Honey, from Kangaroo Island – made by Ligurian honey bees, the honey is extracted at a low temperature to retain its natural colour and flavour and to protect its many nutritional properties.

Fairtrade Cacoa powder – high in antioxidants, cacoa powder is food for your skin. We actually used the powder for colouring our bars.

Oats – as oats are naturally slightly rough, they are one of nature’s most amazing exfoliates. They soften the skin, making it super duper silky smooth. Oats have actually been clinically shown to help heal dry, itchy skin.
